Last April 11, Fundación Lúminis took part in the first meeting of the Second Action Plan within the Local Government Program of the Open Government Partnership (Local OGP).

The meeting was held at the Staff room of the central offices of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

OGP is a global initiative from more than 70 countries and 20 local governments which promote institutional transparency, participation and innovation through the use of new technologies and permanent dialogue with the civil society, generating:
– Opportunities for the creation of innovative products.
– Real answers with public value.
– A sense of community and trust between the citizens and the government. The City of Buenos Aires is part of the 20 local governments of the Open Government Partnership together with other subnational entities (Paris, Madrid, Sao Pablo, Ontario, etc). During the First Plan, 5 compromises were co-created, together with civil society organizations, which were implemented in 2017, and were focused on improving public services in the areas of health, education and transport, and on promoting the disclosure of data, transparency and inter-operability between the State powers.

As a result of the 1st Action Plan of the City of Buenos Aires in the OGP, an interactive map was created in the educational field, where all construction work completed in the City of Buenos Aires schools can be seen.
